The Honorable Michelle Morgan, Chairman of the Carroll County Board of Commissioners, will present the annual State of the County address at the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce's monthly membership breakfast on Thursday, January 12, 2023. The breakfast will be held from 8:00 am to 9:30 am at the Tisinger Community Room at Carroll EMC.
In 2011, the University of Georgia's Carl Vinson Institute of Government had a visit from a member of the Seoul Metropolitan Government, the capital of South Korea.
After the November election, he attended an all-day orientation program for new legislators in Atlanta. Then he went to Athens in early December for a three-day educational program for legislators hosted by the Carl Vinson Institute of Government at the University of Georgia, which covered "basically all the major topics that are facing Georgia ... from the lottery to transportation," he said.
